Quality Award 2024: Condor, Metallrente and Stuttgarter in the top field
The best workforce insurance products were recently evaluated in a test by Bert Heidekamp, a renowned expert in insurance brokerage and investment advice. The test winners in various categories were published in the magazine “Guter Rat”. For example, Condor was recognized for its products in the categories “Independent occupational disability insurance” and “Independent business insurance with incapacity for work clause”. Metallrente received top marks in the area of “disability insurance”. Stuttgarter and Universa were also recognized for their high-quality offerings.
A total of six different sectors were considered, with the focus being on the conditions of the insurance offers. Over 220 questions on more than 1,200 quality characteristics were included in the evaluation. The tests were based solely on the terms and conditions of the products, ignoring application forms, bonuses or savings shares. A six-point grading scale was used to rate the quality of the products.
Condor stood out as the test winner for “self-employed occupational disability insurance (SBU)” and “self-employed BU insurance with incapacity for work clause (SDU)”. Metallrente proved to be a leader in the area of “disability insurance (SEU)”. The Stuttgart company was ahead when it came to the “private pension with no contributions at BU without a health check (PR-BUoG)” and the “basic pension with no contributions at BU without a health check (BR-BUoG)”. Universa was recognized for its “child care provision with BU option” offerings.
Overall, Bert Heidekamp's analysis offers valuable guidance for consumers who want to deal with the topic of workforce security.
