The Penzberger Oberlandler Volkstheater brings a breath of fresh air to the stage with the play “Jerry is dead” by Stefan Schroeder. The crime comedy is directed by Daniela Allnoch, Michaela Brem and Julia Mach and promises excitement and humor in an entertaining setting. The plot revolves around Jeremy Kelton, played by Benedikt Bocksberger, who fakes his own death in order to collect a significant insurance sum. His wife Camilla, played by Antonia Schäffler, is a former actress who takes on the role of the grieving widow. Together they pursue the goal of leading a worry-free life after receiving the insurance.
But the chaotic situation in which the protagonists find themselves involved presents its own challenges. A team of talented participants ensures the professional implementation of the performance. These include Norbert Allnoch, Alex Bader, Georg Baur, Markus Obermeier, Thiemo Christ and Laszlo Barczy, who take care of the stage design. The stage painting is designed by Anke Schmidt, Norbert Allnoch, Claudia Allnoch and Uschi Köhler, while the make-up team around Julia Mach and Ilona Krämer sets important accents. The ensemble is technically supported by Stefan Frick. This careful planning contributes to the exciting atmosphere of the piece.
