Sparda-Bank celebrates 10 years in Buchholz with campaigns and donations!

From June 23rd to 27th, 2025, the Sparda-Bank Competence Center at Kirchenstraße 10a in Buchholz will celebrate its tenth anniversary. The competence center was opened on March 24, 2015 by Sparda-Bank Hamburg and DEVK Versicherung. Customers can look forward to personal advice on current accounts, financing concepts, investments and insurance.

The Sparda-Bank Hamburg, which was founded in 1903 as a savings and loan association in Hamburg Altona, is today the cooperative bank with the largest number of members in its northern German business area. With total assets of 5.2 billion euros, it serves around 265,000 customers and 210,000 members in 19 branches in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and northern Lower Saxony. In 2024, the bank was awarded the German Fairness Prize and has been climate-neutral since 2013, meaning it offers sustainable financial solutions. In addition, their 120th anniversary was celebrated in 2023, with special anniversary offers with special conditions being introduced on July 3, 2023, including an attractive fixed-term deposit product and discounted building financing offers, such as District newspaper weekly reported.

Week of action and donation handover

For the anniversary week, new customers are being offered an attractive promotional package. This includes a free checking account with a starting credit of 50 euros, an individual insurance check and the chance to win signed HSV balls or jerseys. The grand opening on June 24th is planned from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes activities such as a wheel of fortune with instant prizes and a donation presentation.

A total of three local clubs will be supported with 3,000 euros each: Buchholz Antriebs Rad e.V., Stover Rennverein von 1874 e.V. and the Buchholz Volunteer Fire Department. The latter will bring an emergency vehicle to the celebration, while the racing club will present a vaulting show.

Regular opening hours

The Sparda-Bank Competence Center has the following hours on regular opening days: Monday to Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Customers are warmly invited to take advantage of the anniversary promotions and benefit from personal advice.
