Test winner in occupational disability insurance: Condor and Metallrente awarded

The best products for employee protection were recently examined by Bert Heidekamp in an extensive test process. Among the test winners in various divisions were the Condor, the Metallrente, the Stuttgarter and the Universa. These insurance companies were recognized in various categories such as occupational disability insurance for the self-employed, disability insurance and child provision with a BU option.

The evaluation of the products was based solely on the insurance conditions and not on other factors such as application forms or premiums. Over 220 questions on more than 1,200 quality characteristics were taken into account in the analysis. The evaluation was carried out on a six-point scale, with the best-rated products receiving six stars and the rating “excellent”.

Condor was able to impress in the areas of self-employed occupational disability insurance and self-employed business insurance with a disability clause and received the highest rating. The metal pension came out on top in the disability insurance segment, while the Stuttgarter was awarded in the categories of private pension with exemption from contributions at BU without health check and basic pension with exemption from contribution at BU without health check. Universa received the top rating in child care with a BU option.

The awards were presented to the test winners as part of the “Quality Award 2024”, which earned them additional recognition for their consumer friendliness and quality in worker protection. Bert Heidekamp, ​​an expert in the field of insurance brokerage and investment advice, conducted the research, which was published in the magazine “Guter Rat”.
