VHV leads on business and professional liability policies

When arranging business and professional liability policies, independent brokers mainly prefer VHV. Allianz secured second place, followed by Axa, HDI and R+V according to the Asscompact Trends I/2024 study. These insurance policies play a crucial role in covering commercial risks. Asscompact Trends placed the commercial and professional liability insurance segment in eighth place in previous research.

Almost half of the intermediaries surveyed stated that their business results with this insurance were good to very good. Only a small percentage of respondents reported poor business results. The study is carried out regularly by BBG Betriebsberatungs GmbH, with several hundred intermediaries taking part. The current edition I/2024 included 460 intermediaries, surveyed in January 2024.

In the area of ​​business and professional liability insurance, VHV was chosen as the favorite, followed by Allianz in second place. The Axa took third place, while the HDI and R+V took fourth place. Other insurance companies such as Alte Leipziger, Continentale, Ergo, Gothaer and Rhion shared the other placings.

In the previous editions of the study, the top duo, consisting of VHV and Allianz, remained unchanged. However, Axa improved from its previous ninth place to third place. There were also climbers like Gothaer and Ergo, while Rhion and other insurance companies fell in the rankings. The reasons for the brokers' preference were not recorded in the study.
