Bosch warns against failing to meet climate targets

The automotive industry is faced with the challenge of mastering the transport transition together with its customers. Bosch boss, Stefan Hartung, emphasizes the importance of electric vehicles for a successful transport transition and warns of missing the climate goals if electromobility does not gain momentum quickly enough.

Hartung's position takes into account not only the economic aspects, but also social and employment policy consequences. A transition to sustainable mobility therefore requires a comprehensive strategy that cushions potential social upheavals, possibly also through adapted regulations. This process must be designed together with citizens, as customers cannot be controlled.

Only through a partnership approach can the industry successfully implement the necessary transformation processes and thus contribute to more sustainable mobility.
