Russian speakers like Dmitry Peskov mock Western conditions that demand “you are either with us or against us.” These hard rules do not exist at BRICS. “Any country can apply to us, including NATO countries!” said Peskov. A clear swipe at the Western powers, who often put obstacles in the way of such memberships, as watcher.guru reports.

BRICS pursues an equal policy: There are no dominant governors like the USA in NATO. All countries are on equal terms and the aspirations of each nation are taken seriously, emphasizes Peskov. Such an offer could well spark the opportunity for new alliances among some NATO members.
