This year's business day will take place on May 25, 2025 in the West industrial area of Stadtlohn. The event has the motto “Shaping change together” and offers a platform to promote dialogue between business, society and future specialists. According to the Münsterland Zeitung, 101 companies from various industries will present their offers and provide insights into how they work on this day.
A special highlight are the around 30 companies that provide practical insights into their activities on site. Another 70 companies will provide information at a central exhibition center on von-Ardenne-Straße. In this way, a direct connection is created between companies and citizens, who have the opportunity to get to know potential employers and ask questions.
Diversity of industries and offers
The 2025 Business Day will not only show the diversity of the city of Lohne's economy, but will also provide various gastronomic offerings: stalls will include two snack bars and several drinks stands. There will also be home-baked cakes and a café run by the country women, which will enrich the culinary side of the event.
To make travel easier, the RVM has set up a free shuttle service that goes to ten stops in the commercial area. This measure is intended to ensure that as many visitors as possible take the opportunity to find out about the region's companies.
Entrepreneur evening as an additional format
Another important part of the business day is the entrepreneurs' evening, which will take place on May 23, 2025. This is an exchange format for local companies that focuses on the idea of networking. The event emphasizes the importance of togetherness and change in the economy and promotes exchange between companies, which is particularly important in times of a dynamic economic environment.
The business day in Stadtlohn not only offers a platform for presenting local companies, but also promotes the local economy and contact between employers and possible new trainees. The last business day in 2019 already saw participation from over 80 companies.
