Costs for employees in Germany continue to rise
Find out how much of your salary in Germany actually remains and what effects rising taxes and duties could have. Current OECD and Federal Office data provide insight.

Costs for employees in Germany continue to rise
Employees in Germany bear a high tax and duty burden compared to their colleagues in other countries. At the same time, working hours for companies in this country are on average more expensive than elsewhere. Nevertheless, according to current evaluations by the OECD and the Federal Statistical Office, Germany has not deteriorated further internationally in this respect. However, there are concerns that the burden could rise significantly again in the future due to rising social security contributions. This could have an impact on workers' disposable income. It therefore remains to be seen how the situation in Germany will develop with regard to salary deductions.
