Landshut invests boldly: new logistics center despite the lull!
In the midst of the economic downturn, a Landshut company is taking a bold step: the Gerhard Mann company is investing around five million euros in a new logistics center at its current location on Benzstrasse. Managing director Benedikt Forsthofer is convinced that this is the right decision. “I believe in the Lower Bavaria region and want to move forward courageously,” he explains. With strong partners at its side, including the 90-year-old owner who has already overcome other crises, the company shows determination.
Optimism despite challenges
Forsthofer sees the current situation not only as a challenge, but also as an opportunity. “Now is a good time to improve structures in the company,” he says. Despite the difficult economic situation, he firmly believes that the economy will pick up again. “It sounds bizarre, but it’s good for us to invest now that we’ve been able to reduce inventories well.” With a symbolic groundbreaking and the immediate deployment of excavators on the construction site, the company shows that it is ready to set the course for the future.
