Serious traffic accident in Segeberg: Twelve injured, including children!

On August 10, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on federal highway 206 in the Segeberg district, in which numerous people were injured. Overall, loud South German newspaper, twelve people affected, including several children. The rescue services were alerted with a large contingent of around 60 emergency services to care for the injured people.

The accident, which happened in the afternoon, involved three cars and a mobile home. Particular attention was paid to the driver of the motorhome, who was seriously injured and trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters had to intervene to free him from the predicament. This information complements the reports from NDR, who spoke of a total of eight injured. One person was seriously injured, while the other seven sustained minor injuries.

Rescue efforts and hospitalizations

Immediate medical attention was crucial. Six of the injured people were taken to the hospital in Neumünster. The seriously injured man from the mobile home was flown to the Lübeck University Hospital in a rescue helicopter because the injuries were serious.
