SK Rapid welcomes Daniela Bauer: new managing director from September!

SK Rapid GmbH has made an important personnel decision: From September 1, 2025, Daniela Bauer will take over the position of business management. She currently heads the global partnerships and sponsorship department at Allianz SE and brings extensive experience in management and marketing.

In her previous position at Allianz SE, Bauer was, among other things, responsible for the long-term expansion of the partnership with FC Bayern Munich and launched the “Allianz Family of Stadiums” project. Her knowledge of sports marketing is not only shaped by her professional successes, but also by her personal experience as a former FIS World Cup freestyle athlete.

Professional backgrounds and awards

Bauer was voted one of the “Top 30 female leaders in the sports business” in Germany and has thus made a name for himself in the male-dominated sports world. Before joining Allianz, she worked at the German Football League (DFL), where she was responsible for the international marketing of the Bundesliga. These diverse experiences position them ideally to sustainably strengthen SK Rapid's economic basis.

President Alexander Wrabetz commented positively on the personnel decision and emphasized Bauer's important network in the area of ​​sports marketing. “I’m looking forward to Daniela’s return to SK Rapid,” said Wrabetz.
