Strong at work: Free workshops for women in Osterholz!

The Women & Business Coordination Office in the Osterholz district is offering two interesting events in June 2025. These initiatives aim to support women in their professional careers and accompany them in overcoming challenges in the work environment. Topics such as returning to work and successfully starting a new job are particularly addressed.

The “Dealing with Obstacles” event will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. interested women can come to ProArbeit, Bahnhofstr. 36 in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, received valuable tips. This event focuses on overcoming challenges in work and everyday life, especially for women who want to reorient themselves professionally. Participation is free.

Workshop for a successful job start

A week later, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, the coordination office will offer a workshop entitled “The first 100 days in a new job”. The workshop will also take place at ProArbeit from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is aimed at women who are planning a successful start in their new job. Participation here is free, but registration is required as places are limited.

Additional support in the Nienburg district

Parallel to these events in the Osterholz district, the frau+wirtschaft coordination office is active in the Nienburg district. This position acts as an important interface between women and the economic sector and the labor market. Three colleagues offer support for female specialists and women who want to reorient themselves professionally. These measures are funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the state of Lower Saxony.

The coordination office in Nienburg is a first point of contact for topics such as returning to work after parental or care leave, further education and training opportunities and professional reorientation. Anyone interested can contact the coordination office at Goetheplatz 5a, 31582 Nienburg.
