Styrian Entrepreneur of the Year 2025: Submit now and win!
A significant competition period will open on May 28, 2025, recognizing the achievements of women entrepreneurs in Styria. The aim of the “Styrian Entrepreneur of the Year 2025” award is to honor the successes and commitment of these women. Submissions are possible from the end of May to the beginning of July 2025, and the event is organized by the Styrian Chamber of Commerce. Five categories are offered for the award, each highlighting different strengths and successes of female entrepreneurs.
These categories include **Best New Founder**, **Best Innovator**, **Best Unstoppable**, **Best Designer** and **Best Sustainable**. The **Best New Founder** is aimed at female entrepreneurs who founded their business between March 1, 2022 and April 30, 2025. The **Best Innovator** honors women who have successfully implemented new ideas and products despite economic challenges. The **Best Unstoppables** category honors female entrepreneurs who have run their business for many years with perseverance and foresight, while the **Best Designer** honors the women who make their customers' everyday lives easier. Finally, the **Best Sustainable** honors those who take responsibility for people, the environment and society and implement sustainable practices.
Audience Award and Awards Ceremony
The audience award is particularly interesting. A maximum of 20 female entrepreneurs nominated by a jury, four per category, may take part in an online audience vote. The nominations will be made by the end of July 2025, and the final award ceremony will take place on September 16, 2025 in the WKO Styria.
Julia Fandler is an excellent example of entrepreneurial commitment and the values mentioned. In 2006, she took over the family business, the Fandler oil mill, in the fourth generation and has since produced high-quality organic oils and gluten-free organic flour. Their products are carefully cold-pressed from mature raw materials, preserving the natural ingredients that are important for health. The oil mill has a tradition of responsibility towards people, nature and the region that goes back over 90 years.
Commitment to women in business
Julia Fandler is not only committed to the quality of her products, but also to the promotion of women in business. She sees herself as a role model for the younger generation and emphasizes that humanity and economic success are compatible. Their philosophy means that companies should also think in terms of generations, not just in short-term quarterly figures.
With its commitment to sustainable practices and continuous development, including the integration of modern technologies and an open corporate culture, Fandler has a significant impact on the industry. Their credo is that an outstanding product is only created when the quality and manufacturing method are right. In doing so, it ensures that both humanity and economic success are in harmony.
