Entrepreneurs accuse the traffic light government: Insertec is at risk of bankruptcy!

In a dramatic turnaround in the company's history, Insertec GmbH is facing financial ruin. Managing director Andreas Perfetto, who founded the company in 2006, is severely affected by the current economic situation. After the machines and employees were no longer utilized to capacity due to an alarming decline in orders, the company recently had to file for bankruptcy. Perfetto complains about the conditions created by the traffic light government and accuses it of driving the economy to the wall. “We are in free fall and I don't think the politicians are aware of it,” he said, while he has troubled thoughts about his personal assets and retirement savings, as he personally guaranteed loans.

The difficulties of the company

Insertec, a medium-sized company that specializes in CNC machining and system technology, has experienced an eventful development in recent years. At its best, the company had more than 100 employees and last year achieved a six-figure profit. But the changes in the automotive industry triggered by the diesel scandal in 2017 have thrown a massive wrecking ball over the order situation. The company had to accept a drastic reduction in personnel - only 11 of 25 employees remained, reports schwaebische.de.

In 2014, the company moved to Bad Saulgau, where the company invested in new machines. These investments, once a source of hope for further growth, are now proving to be a frightening burden. Perfetto fears that the bankruptcy will result in the auctioning of machinery and other assets. “As a private individual, I pay a high price and am worried that I will fall through the cracks,” said Perfetto in an emotional appeal to politicians.

A bold step into the future

Despite the threat of bankruptcy, the company Insertec, which stands for innovation, precision and efficiency, remains an important example of the fight against the challenges of modern industry. “We were prepared to impress with our specialist knowledge and high quality standards,” explains the company on its website insertec-gmbh.de. The esteemed entrepreneur hopes that the emergency will soon turn around and has the courage to fight on to save his employees and the legacy of his company.
