David Preisdanz, CDU member of the Bundestag, assesses the current situation positively and attributes this to the high KfW funding. In the first half of 2025, a total of 111.2 million euros flowed into the district in the form of KfW funding, of which around 31 million euros were specifically awarded to medium-sized businesses. These funds were used to finance climate, innovation and start-up projects.

The area of ​​energy efficiency and renewable energies in particular benefits significantly from these subsidies. Around 52.3 million euros are allocated to corresponding measures.
