Employer President Dulger criticizes the traffic light coalition
In Berlin, employers' president Rainer Dulger expressed fundamental criticism of the course of the traffic light coalition and complained about the increasing distrust of the economy. Dulger emphasized that the state increasingly believes that it can control the economy down to the smallest detail, which leads to a loss of entrepreneurial freedom. This makes it more difficult for companies to assert themselves in international competition. Dulger called for a reduction in bureaucracy in order to relieve companies and strengthen their ability to act.
As an entrepreneur, Dulger also criticized the changing image of companies in society. He pointed out that entrepreneurs are often portrayed as murderers in Sunday evening crime dramas, which does not correspond to reality. Chancellor Olaf Scholz, however, emphasized the importance of medium-sized businesses as the backbone of the economy. He emphasized the need to correct the negative image of entrepreneurs and praised their important role in the economy.
Despite challenges such as the energy price crisis, Scholz's government was able to achieve successes, including the expansion of renewable energies and easing the immigration of skilled workers. Scholz pointed out that Germany had successfully overcome the energy price crisis, but called for priorities to be set. The German Federation of Trade Unions (DGB) also called for an investment offensive in Germany to address the investment problem and stimulate private investment. A convincing investment program for public infrastructure should be set up.
