Bavarian Business Day in Amberg: Networking for entrepreneurs and investors!
The Bavarian Business Day 2025 is just around the corner and will take place on June 6, 2025 in the Amberger Congress Center (ACC). The event is organized by the Bavarian Economic Advisory Council of the Union (WBU) and is aimed at entrepreneurs, investors and young founders. One of the prominent guests is Mayor Michael Cerny, who will take part in the event.
The opening and closing words of the event will be given by Prof. Dr. Angelika Niebler. The keynote speakers are particularly outstanding: Finance Minister Albert Füracker and Bundestag member Susanne Hierl will address central topics. Peter Hardenacke will moderate the panel discussion, which will include Michael Cerny, Egon Leo Westphal, Klaus Herdegen and Markus Frauendorfer.
Important topics and goals
Since its founding in 1948, the WBU has established itself as an important link between entrepreneurship, science and politics. The organization currently has 1,750 members and organizes around 90 events per year in 24 specialist committees. As part of the Bavarian Business Day, central topics such as digital policy and energy supply will be discussed.
The WBU's political agenda includes relieving high energy and wage costs as well as speeding up approval processes for investments. A pro-European, federal course is also called for. These points are particularly important for future economic development in Bavaria.
Event highlights and more
The Bavarian Business Day program offers participants the opportunity to network and includes, among other things, company presentations and live entertainment. Anyone interested is invited to secure a place as the number of participants is limited.
For the subsequent event, the Bavarian Business Day 2024, which is planned for July 12, 2024 at the Messe Augsburg conference center, the topic of “U-turn in economic policy” will be in the foreground. The focus of the discussions should be less bureaucracy and more freedom for innovations. Registrations are required by July 1, 2024, although places are also limited.
