Dissatisfaction with the political situation in Germany is also growing among family businesses. The Association of Family Businesses expressed concern about the economic policy decisions of the traffic light coalition. In particular, the lack of support for investments in areas such as education and infrastructure is criticized. The board member of the Family Business Foundation, Rainer Kirchdörfer, emphasized the need for an economic recovery and complained about the lack of reforms in this area.

Kirchdörfer urgently called for an “economic turnaround” that should create incentives for investments. This includes improving depreciation conditions for companies and reducing bureaucratic regulations. The Family Business Foundation also advocates a reduction in corporate tax in order to stimulate more private investment and increase gross domestic product.

Another demand concerns the rejection of subsidies for large corporations, as this would lead to unequal conditions of competition. The current situation is also reflected in surveys in which many family businesses note a deterioration in Germany's competitiveness. Dissatisfaction with the traffic light government in economic matters is palpable among many entrepreneurs, indicating a lack of reform and insufficient support.
