Budget surplus in Barlovento: PSOE sharply criticizes mayor
The political situation in Barlovento is coming to a head after the Partido Popular mayor reported a budget surplus of over 1.7 million euros. Criticism of the budget plans for 2025

This raises concerns as the funds for social and infrastructural developments appear insufficient in comparison. In addition, the 67,000 euros for the maintenance of irrigation systems and 55,000 euros for the maintenance of municipal infrastructure are also characterized by ambiguity. The Socialist Party complains that no specific projects to use these funds have been announced.
Demands for change
The PSOE calls for a serious and responsible administration, more invested in improving the quality of life of citizens and actively addressing the challenges.
