Robin Alexander reveals: Merkel and refugee policy in focus!

Robin Alexander, a prominent journalist and author, celebrates his 50th birthday on May 13, 2025. Born in Essen and raised in Wanne-Eickel, Alexander graduated from high school in 1994 and decided to study history and journalism at the University of Leipzig. In 1998 he began his traineeship at the taz in Berlin and was able to gain his first experience in the journalism industry there.

After his traineeship, Alexander quickly established himself as a significant voice in German journalism. From 2001 he worked as an editor and reporter for the taz.
