Dr. Volker Wissing, former federal minister, is moving from politics to business. Wissing, who was Secretary General of the FDP from 2020 to 2022, held the office of Federal Transport Minister in the traffic light coalition. In November 2022, he resigned from the FDP after the coalition collapsed, but remained as the only liberal in Chancellor Olaf Scholz's cabinet. He also temporarily took over the Federal Ministry of Justice until a new black-red federal government was formed in May 2023.
