Capacity building in development cooperation

The importance of capacity building, which plays a central role in the context of development cooperation, is also emphasized by institutions such as SOCIEUX+. This organization, founded and co-financed by the European Union, aims to expand and improve access to better employment opportunities and inclusive social protection systems.

SOCIEUX+ follows a peer exchange model that promotes the exchange of knowledge and experiences. It offers short-term missions and activities aimed at improving capacity in the design, management and monitoring of effective and sustainable employment strategies. This support mobilizes European expertise for technical cooperation activities outside the EU and is available in over 160 eligible countries and territories worldwide.

Overall, it is clear that strengthening skills and knowledge in development policy is of great importance both locally and internationally. Events such as the “Forum International Politics” make an important contribution to raising awareness of these topics and promote exchange between various interested parties.
