Generali expands assistance offering: new e-mobility and breakdown services

Generali has expanded its range of motor vehicle insurance services by introducing two new assistance services. These new services include information on e-mobility for cars and motorcycles as well as a digital breakdown service. These extensions are intended to offer customers comprehensive protection and support, adapted to changing needs and mobility habits.

The new information service on e-mobility enables policyholders to obtain comprehensive information about various aspects before and after purchasing an electric vehicle. This includes explanations of the different types of electric vehicles, their advantages and disadvantages, important decision criteria, funding options, charging options and battery management. Generali is reacting to the increasing interest in electric vehicles, as the Europ Assistance Mobility Barometer 2024 shows in a study.

Generali also offers a digital breakdown service, which enables policyholders to request help quickly and easily in the event of a breakdown or accident. This shortens the time until the tow truck arrives and assistance can be called directly to the current location. The service is accessible to customers both via the Tip&Tat emergency number and via the websitedigitalpannenhilfe.at.
